Plextor has introduced Qflix-capable DVD burners
Plextor's optical drives use Qflix technology to try to sweeten potential customers.

Accordingly, Plextor packs two Qflix-compatible DVDs as well as Roxio Venue and Roxio Creator 10 CE software with its optical drives, thereby ensuring software coverage, and video downloading, viewing, management and archiving is solved.
The PX-5,25SA, which can be "plugged into" the 806\\"\\" expansion slot, is by definition SATA, and the external PX-Q840U has a USB 2.0 connection. Plextor charges US$90 for the former and US$150 for the latter. In terms of writing speeds, they are optical units of the same capacity — broken down into individual disc types, the following are the maximum values:
