Implementing an e-construction log can be problematic

From October 1, the construction diary must be kept electronically by the contractors, the interviewed companies consider the time available for preparation to be small, and they ask for support for the transition, the Trade Union of Construction Entrepreneurs (ÉVOSZ) told MTI on Tuesday.

In the joint survey of the construction department of BKIK and ÉVOSZ, the responses of 600 companies were processed. Respondents consider the introduction of the e-construction log in the autumn to be in a hurry, saying that the management of the traditional and the new log should run in parallel for some time to come. It would help to prepare if the right software appeared on the market in time, at least 3 months before its launch.

The announcement draws a parallel between the electronic official administration introduced at the beginning of the year and the management of the e-construction diary. According to ÉVOSZ, the preparation time for electronic administration was also short, and "a large number of errors" occur during the process.

The reason for keeping e-government and keeping an e-construction diary was that construction companies become more controllable and thus improve their discipline, which makes investments more efficient. [MTI]
