Our readers are probably familiar with this growing list of different memory card types — and thank God, this time it wasn't a new format, but the world's largest miniSD card from Pretec. This company is not setting such records for the first time, they also presented the largest MMC 4.0 card and the world's first 4 GB SD card. The miniSD card format is becoming more and more popular in mobile phones and PDAs, and it is likely that sooner or later it will supplant traditional SD cards as well.
