Iomega: 1 TB external hard drive (s)

Iomega has introduced its 1 TB external storage unit.

As the modern proverb holds: Memory and a hard drive (and a more powerful processor, and a faster video card and…) are never enough. This is followed by Iomega, with its Desktop Hard Drive XL, which combines 4 250GB hard drives. All of this can be accessed via USB or FireWare. The hard drives in the device spin at 7200 per second and have 8 MB of cache, all of which is backed up by a RAID 0, which significantly increases speed. The Desktop Hard Drive XL measures 162,56 × 203,2 × 317,5 mm and is priced at $ 900, which is approx. 190000 HUF, for which we get some extra software related to backup: Dantz Retrospect Express and Iomega Automatic Backup Pro.
