Penryn v. Agena measurements

Thanks to a demo of Crytek’s latest game, the two cannons were strained.

As many of you know, the trial version of Crysis released a couple of days ago includes two executable timedemos that allow us to test our processor in addition to our video card. Expreview’s site didn’t do any different, but they now focused exclusively on the central units, including the latest and forthcoming copies.

Thus, the test had four participants, three of which have CPUs with four cores. Intel delegated three copies - E6850, QX6850 and QX9650 (Penryn) - for the duration of the test, while AMD sent only one CPU to the battle. However, this is not just any piece, the extreme Penryn immediately had to deal with a Phenom X3 pulled to 4 GHz. The base was provided by P35 and RD790 motherboards, while the role of VGA was filled by the soon-to-be-home GeForce 8800 GTX.
