Wi-Fi adapter with PCIe interface
Abit recently introduced its wireless network card that supports 802.11b / g standards.
What makes Abit AirPace special is that it requires a PCI Express x1, as opposed to Wi-Fi devices that can be plugged into a standard PCI slot or plugged into a USB port.
Abit AirPace - supported operating systems: Windows 2000 / XP / Server 2003
The Wi-Fi adapter, which can be operated as a client and software access point, supports 64/128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA (WiFi Protected Access) encryption procedures for secure network activity and data traffic.
