Small for PC, smart for tablet

Combining PC performance with tablet comfort is Sony’s new lightweight tablet, the VAIO Tap 11. The incredibly lightweight tablet features the latest Intel processor, lightning-fast SSD storage, and powerful Windows 8 running on it.

With a 29,4 cm (11.6 ″) Full HD touch screen, the VAIO Tap 11 is the world's thinnest tablet with Windows 8 operating system (1). The TRILUMINOS® Display for mobile display offers a wide range of natural and vibrant colors.

The tablet's sleek wireless keyboard and touchpad can be easily attached to the screen, so it serves as an extra screen protector when not in use. By removing the cover, you can comfortably type on your lap or desktop at any time, and then reconnect the keyboard, which automatically recharges on the go.

Thanks to the digitizing pen, the VAIO Tap 11 is perfect for making notes and sketches - handwritten notes and drawings can be easily inserted into our work. And the rear-facing 8-pixel Exmor RS for PC captures sharp images from books or slides from a presentation.

As a versatile infrared remote control, the VAIO Tap 11 is also suitable for controlling TVs, home theaters and other devices with an infrared sensor. With the SideView app, which can be downloaded for free from the Window Store, the new tablet also functions as a second screen for BRAVIA TVs: you can browse programs, find interesting information about shows, and discover lots of other useful content.

Clear Audio + mode delivers crisp, clear and content-optimized sound: with four different preset options and a touch-screen equalizer for fine-tuning, you're guaranteed to find the right sound effect for any taste.

With the feather-light tablet, sharing music is easy without cables: the VAIO Tap 11 connects to NFC-compatible speakers, headphones and other audio devices in seconds.

With a battery life of up to 7 hours, the VAIO Tap 11 is durable enough to motivate and entertain all day long.

The new Windows 8 tablets will be on the shelves of Hungarian stores in white in November 2013.
