The tablet also comes with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013, so you can use most common office applications on the go, making Encore a great addition to your office computer. You have the full version of Word 2013, Excel 2013, PowerPoint 2013, and OneNote 2013 installed on your tablet, so you can create, view, edit, and share your documents or presentations on the go. The device comes with 7GB of free SkyDrive storage, so you can store your data in the cloud and share it easily with your other Windows devices. It's even easier to operate your device with an optional Bluetooth® keyboard. Toshiba Encore delivers superior performance on the go thanks to the latest Intel® Atom ™ architecture.

The 8-inch (20,32 cm) Toshiba Encore is designed for mobile entertainment with a bright AutoBrite ™ display, high-quality speakers with Dolby® Digital Plus, and an ultra-fast Wi-Fi® connection. With the pre-installed Microsoft Xbox app, you can select and listen to your favorite music from your 90 million online music for free for 30 days, as well as play a variety of Xbox games. Xbox SmartGlass software allows you to use your tablet as a second display on your Xbox One or Xbox 360 console, making them even more enjoyable to use. And with Internet Explorer 11 for tablets and touch screens, full-screen browsing, web pages, and online videos are also significantly faster.

The 8,0 MPixel rear camera and 2,0 MPixel front camera are great for video calling, taking photos and videos, so you can easily share any moment of your trip with your friends. The built-in micro-USB allows fast data transfer and the micro-HDMI® allows you to connect a large-screen TV at home or even during a meeting.
