With the “new” generation of Core imminent, Intel is picking up the glove.

The second Ryzen family started a clock race

Coffee Lake-based solutions are a kind of bridging role, a response to the AMD Ryzen 2000 series. According to the former, only small fine-tuning took place, the clocks increased by 100-200 MHz, but spiced up with a fresh name, this may already be enough for customers to reach into their wallets.

The official announcement of newcomers is yet to come.
