Recently, someone who has been trying to stay in the picture in the field of Xiaomi phones has had to tie up his pants. It’s not enough to rename its handsets in China one by one by the time they arrive in Europe, plus the Redmi sub-brand has now switched to full speed, with dozens of new phones.

Xiaomi introduced something 2 years ago to indicate the absolute entry level with a capital letter A, be it a phone or a TV. The eighth series is the latest at the company, at least except for the top category, but we’ll talk more about that later.
The Redmi 8A is a cheap phone, but its capabilities are modest compared to the "big ones". On the outside, it now looks just as good as the more expensive mobile phones, maybe only the bottom edge is a little thicker. The good news is that the manufacturer puts an eight-core processor in this low-end mobile phone, although of course a weaker one. There is less memory and less storage space, and the display resolution is "only" HD+. They also saved money with cameras, only 1 each for the front and back, and the fingerprint reader was also left behind.
The point is that this phone is also Xiaomi, we get the same features as the more expensive handsets, including the latest versions of the MIUI system, but we can save a lot on price if we choose this. It will have enough power for everyday tasks, so if you want a good mobile phone cheaply, you can buy it with confidence!

Xiaomi Redmire 8
Xiaomi chose an interesting solution when it decided that there would be essentially no difference in hardware between the Redmi 8A and the plain eight. The processor, the display and almost everything else are the same, the difference is in the case of cameras and memory storage pairs. The slightly more expensive Redmi 8 has already got two cameras in its ass, the second a depth sensor. In terms of memory and storage, the 3/32 Gb capacity is also available, and a fingerprint sensor is included in the price.
The point here is that if you don’t take photos with your phone, it makes no sense to buy the Redmi 8, you can stay with version A. If you need more memory, you may need more photography and you want a fingerprint sensor, then choose this one!

Xiaomi Note 8 Redmire
I don’t think I’m much wrong when I claim that this phone is going to be one of the hits of the Christmas season. The mobile was shot in the middle of the mid-range, with a powerful eight-core Snapdragon processor, an already impeccable amount of memory and built-in storage, an FHD + resolution display, and last but not least 5, i.e. five cameras!
The main sensor on the back here is the usual and beloved 48 megapixel Sony, which has been proven in quite a few devices at Xiaomi in the last year, but we get a 13 megapixel self-timer camera with a usable resolution. Of course, the phone looks very good, there is no shortage of sensors and you can choose wonderful colors for the front and back glass-wrapped housing. Unless you’re a maximalist, for a while, this phone will be enough for everything in terms of iron, and we’ll get the right quality when it comes to photography, too, all of course at the usual affordable price from Redm!

Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 8
This phone, the most interesting device of recent times, at least for the professional eye, at least not counting the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha, because it’s just a joke anyway. The Redmi Note 8 Pro, on the other hand, is available for purchase, it is already on store shelves, and the price is good. And what's so special about it? In fact, it’s hard to say an ability that’s not special!
The processor, for example, isn’t part of the usual Qualcomm Snapdragon series, but came from rival MediaTek, even the Helio G90T, which Xiaomi says is well-paired with mid-range Snapdragons. Moreover, this central unit was designed for gaming, (which of course only does good in everyday use), and Xiaomi took this playful line so seriously that it even built a liquid cooler into the phone.
If we move on to the cameras, we will open our mouths even more there. As with the Note 8, here the Note 8 Pro has 5 cameras, four at the back and one at the front. The rear cameras are more important, let’s start there. Most importantly, this phone debuted the 48-megapixel unit that replaced the 64-megapixel sensor, which did really well based on tests found on the net. Next to it is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A telephoto lens has not been installed here because, in good lighting conditions, the software zoom of the 64 megapixel camera also gives good quality when we get closer to the subject.
Of course, no one will complain about other capabilities, there is a 4500 battery, FHD + display, plenty of sensors, but NFC has not been left out either, so we can replace our credit card with the phone.
If you love mobile phones full of exciting, technical innovations, there is no question that you need this phone!

Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite
As I promised above, we’ll get back to numbering, and now it’s time for that. There is some confusion in the force that although we are in the eighth series, the top category and its descendants are already in the ninth series. This is because last year, Xiaomi missed the Mi 7 out of line, citing her birthday, and right after the six, the eight landed on store shelves. I suspect the reason for skipping the week is much more prosaic. On the one hand, they try to catch up with the numbering of Xamsung, on the other hand, they are better able to distinguish the top category from the middle category in the minds of customers. Here again, however, there is a bit of a confusion, since, for example, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite we are discussing now is not even a high-end phone, it is much more in the top third of the middle category.
The Mi 9 Lite is very similar in appearance to the Mi 9, the real high-end phone, but inside it is much weaker than that. This applies to both the processor and the cameras, but not the display, which is a Samsung AMOLED panel with FHD + resolution, and as expected, this phone now has a fingerprint sensor under the glass. So externally, and in terms of display, the stuff is premium, and the hardware is inside the mid-range.
There are "only" three cameras on the back, of which the main camera is the already mentioned 48 megapixel solution, which of course includes the night photo mode. The front-facing selfie camera is also not insignificant, as they rarely pack a 32 megabyte sensor here. The phone looks really good, you can choose bright colors that look good even under the factory silicone back cover.
All in all, if you want a phone with a premium look, but equipped with "only" powerful mid-range hardware, well below the prices of the premium category, then the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite seems like a good choice!
