Cheap Android tablets from Coby
The affordable Coby tablets were first unveiled at CES and are now on the market.
To our great delight, Coby’s new devices don’t come with some old version of the operating system, but Ice Cream Sandwich is waiting to be turned on. There are a total of six models to distinguish, but each has a nice black design, a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor, a microSD slot, a front-facing camera, HDMI output and 4/8 GB of built-in storage. Luckily, cheapness isn’t the price of Android 4.0, but unfortunately we won’t be able to officially access Google stores, we’ll get GetJar instead for now. Purchase prices are based on the size of the display, and are available for between $ 179 and $ 279 for the following tablets:
- Coby MID7042 - 7 inches, 800 × 480 pixels resolution
- Coby MID8042 - 8 inches, 800 × 600 pixels resolution
- Coby MID9042 - 9 inches, 1280 × 800 pixels resolution
- Coby MID9742 - 9,7 inches, 1024 × 768 pixels resolution
- Coby MID1042 - 10 inches, 1024 × 600 pixels resolution
- Coby MID10245 - 10 inches, 1280 × 800 pixels resolution
