OCZ Reaper: will soon be mowing with 1066GB even at 4 MHz

The 1066 MHz, brutal modules will soon be available in a 2 × 2048 MB factory package.

OCZ has announced the latest release of its state-of-the-art family of memory called Reaper, this time not in terms of increasing clocks or decreasing timings, but in terms of module size. The KIT is now available not only in 2 × 1024 MB, but also in 2 × 2048 MB for those at maximum.

Features of the modules:

• 1066 MHz (PC2-8500)
• EPP 5-5-5-18
• 2.1 V
• all-black PCB with Reaper HPC (heat pipe) cooling system
• manufacturer's lifetime warranty

No information is yet available on the expected price, but the starting point could be a 2 GB KIT amounting to around € 100.
