The competition was announced in August and closed a few days ago. The winning ringtone will be present on incoming phones, but the company has denied that it would be the successor to the usual Grande Valse piece, composed in 1902, which was the factory default ringtone for Finnish-made devices for the past 17 years, and probably beyond. . The remix competition was won by a 22-year-old Italian disc jockey who effectively rejuvenated Nokia Tune by combining it with one of the most modern musical styles. As a result, the Nokia Tune Dubstep Edition was born, which, as its name implies, was boosted with dubstep elements. Valerio Alessandro Sizzi's work was a great success, because in addition to the fact that it received 6200 votes among the thousands of submitted works, even the professional jury selected this voice as the winner. Sizzi decided to create this piece because he saw that this genre is extremely popular among today's youth and that it fits Nokia's profile perfectly. "It embodies the sound of today with the energetic, dubstep interpretation of Nokia Tune. During its 24-second duration, it has a well-separated introduction, middle and closing section, which all fit together well. [The new ringtone] exemplifies the musical flexibility of Nokia Tune," Nokia said.

The tune of the top five entrants will be downloaded from Nokia's online store. In addition to fame, the grand prize is ten thousand dollars, which is currently more than two million forints.
