Apple and Samsung have, to put it mildly, jumped at each other lately, but money seems to be overwriting everything.

Despite the struggle, there is no tension in manufacturing between the two great powers in the mobile market. The current Apple A5 chip is also made on Samsung's production lines, and even its predecessor, the Apple A4, came out of here and then into apple products. The information comes from a source close to The Korea Times, so it’s likely to be well-founded and will actually leave the production of the Cupertino company in the hands of the South Korean company.

Earlier, there were rumors that Apple would reorganize production with the arrival of the A6 SoC on TSMC’s production lines, but since they expect sales records for future generations of iPhones and iPads, it wouldn’t be a good pairing to contract with an unstable manufacturer, so they remain with Samsung for purely business reasons. Of course, Samsung is doing well with this, as there is a huge amount of revenue from these tiles, precisely because of the high-volume sales, and it seems that no one else is able to serve this at the moment.

While the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 will build on the same chipset, the A6 will be a chip with four Coretex-A15 cores. There is no more information about it yet, but it is likely that the iPhone will be more radically silly and in my opinion will only contain two active cores. Although, according to some news sources, the new portable devices may come as early as the first quarter of next year, we are a little skeptical about the possible launch of the next generation iPad, but for the iPhone we would consider it too early to launch based on Apple's strategy so far.
