With Nokia Business Center, Nokia provides a mobile email solution for corporate employees.

Nokia today unveiled Nokia Business Center, a new software solution that provides the mobile world with interoperable business applications, the first of which is push email. Nokia Business Center provides businesses with mobile email, meaning that by accelerating the spread of mobile email, all employees can use the corporate email system, anytime, anywhere. Nokia Business Center complements Nokia's portfolio of popular email solutions for existing business mobile devices.
 
Nokia Business Center is the widespread availability of standard mobile phones and expands the range of potential mobile users through a two-tier client strategy. The standard client license provides unlimited usability on the Nokia Business Center server. A professional client with a richer set of services will be available for a minimal upgrade fee. The Java-based product can be installed on any Nokia-certified Java MIDPI 2.0 phone. Nokia Business Center will initially integrate with Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003 on the Nokia 9300 smartphone, Nokia 9500 communicator, and Nokia 6630, Nokia 6680, Nokia 6681, and Nokia 6682 phones, then Nokia-certified It will also support Lotus Notes® and Domino® on a wider range of devices.

The standard Nokia Business Center client uses the push e-mail service (read-only mail without separate download) and can be used to write, read, and delete e-mail, manage local folders, and work offline with state-of-the-art security. The standard client supports English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. In addition to all the features of a standard client, the professional client offers email with a rich, graphical interface similar to a desktop email program. Additional features of the professional version include handling appointment appointments, sorting by different categories, full support for attachments, but you can search for any employees in the corporate phonebook, search for local folders, and many other features.

In order to ensure email security, Nokia Business Center uses a shorter data transfer based on direct communication between devices instead of the "store and then forward" method used by most mobile solutions. Nokia Business Center also offers end-to-end encrypted data transfer, storage, and network synchronization.
