NForce 780i SLI: NVIDIA's top chip debuts in November

According to TechConnect Magazine, the nForce 700 chips will premiere on November 12th.

The nForce 780i SLI chip will also support the upcoming 45nm Wolfdale and Yorkfield Intel processors as expected. Only DDR2 modules can be inserted in the memory sockets of the built-in motherboards, the three PCI Express x16 sockets triple SLI systems, and two gigabit Ethernet network controllers and six SATA 3.0 Gb / s ports will be housed on the PCB.

Those who are a little disappointed with the memory won’t have to wait long, as more patient patients will have access in the first quarter of 2008 to the NVIDIA-based boards, known as the C72, which handle DDR3 memory.
