The Sapphire R7 250 Ultimate has undergone some mutilation

Sapphire engineers have reduced the speed of the Holland graphics processor from 1,0 GHz to 800 MHz.sapphire-r7-250-ultimate02The AMD Radeon R7 250 is already one of the weakest graphics cards in this generation, and even that seems to be easy to “catch” with passive cooling.

Luckily, the onboard memory got away with it relatively cheaply - 100 MHz jumped here too - the 1GB capacity is made up of GDDR5 memory chips at a speed of 4,50 GHz. In terms of outputs, we are greeted by DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4a and DVI connectors, and the four-tube design is the same as the Radeon HD 7750 Ultimate.

The first copies of the Sapphire Radeon R7 250 Ultimate appeared in stores at a price tag of € 90. The card can obviously be a good choice if you are specifically allergic to noise from fans.
