There will be no more AIW cards

DailyTech reported that ATI will shut down production of All-in-Wonder devices in late August, citing video card manufacturers and insider information.

It is not yet known how much AMD has to do with narrowing the product range, however, ATI will discontinue production of its multimedia graphics controllers and will focus its future enhancements, energy and resources on video cards and TV receivers in the future.

There are currently four All-in-Wonder products to choose from on the Canadian company’s website:

• AIW X1900 PCI Express
• AIW 2006 Edition PCI Express
• AIW 2006 Edition AGP
• AIW X800 XT AGP
