Nanocarbon technology in televisions as well?

Applied Nanotech of Texas is designing flat panel displays that are much cheaper than they are today.

We have previously reported using nanocarbon tubes developed by Nantero About NRAM memories. We also mentioned that technology could revolutionize the production of LCD displays: the first tangible results have finally been released.

Applied Nanotech has already unveiled a 25-inch functional LCD television that used a panel based on nanocarbon technology. These devices could currently be sold for around $ 1300, which is very good compared to the plasma and LCD devices available. In fact, the only problem is that large-scale production, due to certain technological difficulties, can only start in two years in the worst case.

Of course, the technology can already be used in smaller panels, such as in mobile phones, thus reducing their manufacturing costs and, as a result, final market goods.
