Let's start with the oddity, which is none other than the central chip of the machine, which is the Mediatek 8183. This is an octa-core chip, which we haven't heard much about in the case of tablets. The reason for this is simple, the manufacturer intended it primarily for Chromebook devices. This is not a bad thing, since a Chromebook is basically a more advanced device than a tablet.

The MediaTek Kompanio 500 (MT8183) combines a diverse mix of high-performance hardware into an energy-efficient chip that enables quality Chromebook platforms. The chip includes an octa-core CPU, four Arm Cortex-A73 "big" cores and four Cortex-A53 cores, each clocked at up to 2 GHz, as well as a powerful Arm Mali-G72-class graphics processor clocked at up to 800 MHz also works. A dual-core AI processing unit (APU) is also built into the chip.
