Lenovo's new ThinkPad Tablet is already available in Hungary
Lenovo has also announced its new business tablet in Hungary.
The ThinkPad Tablet is designed specifically for professionals who are constantly on the move. With its optional digital stylus, standard-size USB port, SD card reader and mini HDMI connector, and the optional high-quality optical keyboard dock with Optical TrackPoint, the ThinkPad Tablet can become a true business companion. And NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processors ensure that parallel tasks run at the right speed, even faster web browsing with Flash support, and long battery life due to low power consumption. Data protection is ensured by a multi-level security system, while business solutions such as anti-theft software or Computrace, which renders the machine inoperable in the event of theft or loss, make the work of IT professionals much easier. Additional security features include Citrix, which supports virtual applications, LanDesk for tamper-free installation, and Good Technology for email security.
The ThinkPad Tablet has a 10,1-inch screen and a WXGA (1280 × 800) resolution display and weighs less than 750 grams. The excellent IPS display provides a 178-degree viewing angle, while its scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla glass ensures durability. Business people can work seamlessly on their ThinkPad Tablet on the go, supported by DataViz's "Documents to Go" application for viewing and editing Microsoft Office documents. Price and availability
The 16GB ThinkPad Tablet with WiFi model will be available from the end of September at 139 gross, and the 900GB 32G model is expected to be available from 3 HUF at domestic distributors. The ThinkPad tablet comes with a 179-year service warranty. The basic warranty can optionally be extended for another 900 years for 1 years.
