MSI - Master Overclock Arena summaryThe 2011 championship of the tuning competition hosted by MSI is over.

The final was held on October 7 by the manufacturer and the venue was provided by Taipei. In recent years, the overdriving of various components, i.e. more tuning, has grown into a real sport. And MSI likes to promote its products with this, maybe thanks to that, these events have been held continuously for the last 4 years. But let’s see how the fourth MOA took place.

Professional overclockers from all over the world came to the finals, most of the teams came from Europe, but there were also a good number of Asian and American participants, with a total of 16 teams taking part in the finals. Here, it is difficult to predict the end result, as everyone is given what to work from, which is distributed in a draw; and different hardware is usually not capable of exactly the same result, but the boundary between competitors is already very blurred at this level, and it is easy for the one who gets better-equipped devices to win. This is because the slightest weakness can be fatal at any point on the machine, but the most painful is certainly a weaker processor or memory pack, as the whole race can go away on these.

Competitors had to prove it during the Super PI 32M, 3DMark 11 and the good old 3DMark 2001SE. The Romanian team managed to pull in the first place to a small surprise, but the end result was extremely close, which is no better reflected than the fact that only the best results could be achieved under 3DMark 11, the team was made up of Lab 501 colleagues called matose and Monstru. we got to know him. The Greek team came in second, with the best Super PI 32M time, and the 2001 3DMark score. The Swedish team could stand on the third step of the podium.
