Motion-controlled Sony controller for PS3

According to information that appeared on Engadget, Sony is preparing for something on the controller front.

The new news reports a patent in which Sony describes a motion-controlled controller. As you can see in the picture, this is a rather complex thing, as the basic control device can be connected to many other accessories. What programs are currently left to our imagination, but looking at the images, FPS games and simulators are almost certain - at least based on our fantasy images.

We think Sony really needs to move in soon, as after the Wii, Microsoft is also working to surprise its console users with the most sophisticated controls possible. Microsoft Project Natal, as previously reported, is a control mechanism that can control individual games without a handheld controller. Based on the current picture, Sony is more following the Wii line.
