Mitac Mio 269 test (article recommendation)

DarkVision Hardware tested Mitac's latest GPS system, the Mio 269.

The Mio 269 is not a full-fledged Pocket PC; although based on Windows CE 4.2, it does not include the Windows Mobile layer. So we got a cheaper but targeted device with built-in GPS, 300 MHz Intel processor, 64 MB RAM and 32 MB ROM, 320 × 240, 8-bit touch screen, 1 year warranty, 2,5 GB They also came with an MP3 player. The built-in battery lasts 4,5 hours on a single charge. The test can be read here, the Mio 269 costs approx. 670 US dollars.
