When will Google Chrome be the second most popular browser?The Chrome browser continues to increase its market share week by week. Microsoft and Mozilla (for now) cannot stop this process.

According to analysts at the WebCounter web measurement system, if Google can maintain that momentum, Chrome could be the second most popular browser as early as November. The browser currently has a global market share of 23,61 percent, but in some regions (South America) it already has 35 percent of the market. Here may be the first place here early next year.

All of this was driven by several factors combined;
the protracted development of Firefox 4.0 and Chrome’s aggressive marketing campaign.

Some analysts are of the view that Mozilla reacted too late, underestimating its rivals. Based on experience to date, it can take 4 to 6 months for a new and successful strategy to reverse current trends. 

Even in 2012, Firefox may be the least likely in the browser battle. Under Windows 8, Internet Explorer 10 will play an important role (and with it serious publicity), while Google can rely on its web-centric operating system, Chrome OS. Ultimately, Microsoft can still do that clears your Google browser.

Mozilla, however, has no shortage of innovation, so it would be very early to describe them.
