PRADA and LG have renewed their exclusive cooperation agreement

PRADA and LG Electronics have renewed their exclusive mobile phone cooperation agreement in Seoul, South Korea. Building on previous successes, the two companies will jointly develop the PRADA Phone by LG 3.0 model, which will be launched in early 2012.

Under the agreement, LG will be PRADA’s exclusive mobile device manufacturing partner. The joint work began in 2006, resulting in two premium phones with a strong emphasis on both exterior and interior. This is no different with the latest model: the PRADA Phone by LG 3.0, with its sophisticated design and packaging, comes with unique software and user interface.

The PRADA Phone by LG 1.0 has pioneered the world of fashion houses and the mobile phone industry by combining state-of-the-art technology and outstanding design in a single device. More than a million of them have been sold worldwide. Its place in the history of the fashion world is well demonstrated by the fact that PRADA Phone by LG 1.0 is a permanent part of the collection of the New York City Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). 

The PRADA Phone by LG 1.0 was the world’s first touchscreen mobile phone, while the 2.0 model made a lasting impression with its unique and innovative watch connectivity technology. The latter provided a much simpler way to use caller ID, send SMS, call log, call rejection and two-way notification.
