The HIS HD 6970 IceQ RTS, tuned to Eyefinty, has been releasedHIS’s custom-designed HD 6970 card is a solution to the limited range of monitors that can be used for Eyefinty.

The RTS acronym, on behalf of the manufacturer’s most recently redesigned AMD card, covers up Ready-to-see, which is already a slight reference to its most important capability. The card, by the way, is very similar to the Mix suffix IceQ card introduced a few months ago, but this has been stripped of its LucidLogix Hydra chip. The special feature of the card is the look on the back; he got plenty of connectors. It has one HDMI, two DisplayPort and most importantly two DVI interfaces. Thus, with the RTS solution, we can build our Eyefinity configuration from even completely simple monitors.

The rest of the card is no different from its traditional IceQ counterpart, meaning that while it has 2GB of video memory, the graphics core also runs at 880 MHz as AMD's benchmark, while VRAMs run at 5.500 MHz. The contents of the box have not changed either, in addition to the mandatory power cord converter, there is also a DVI-VGA adapter and a CrossFire bridge. The gift also features the full version release of the usual DiRT 3. Price and appearance are unknown, but it will probably appear in stores soon, and its price could be just over $ 399, as several online stores currently sell the basic version for that much.
