Samsung has put durability, speed, and safety at the forefront of the development of its new business handsets, so the handsets survive minor falls, spilled coffee, but can even withstand the weight of their owner. The 4 and 6 series also have a fingerprint reader for added data protection. The launch of the new business notebook series is part of Samsung’s opening to business solutions, enabling the company to provide a complete solution to business partners from climates to printers. According to the IDC survey, the company had a 10,6 percent share in 2011, which may soon grow further, as Samsung will make its corporate notebooks available in Hungary from April 2012 after consumer devices.
In designing, the company’s engineers have kept durability and reliability in mind so that laptops always deliver the best possible performance for business users. That’s why each model has a durable, rugged coating with reinforced hinges, plus their keyboard is drip-proof so they don’t have a problem with accidentally spilling coffee.
The resilience of the devices has been tested in a number of ways during development. Equipped with Samsung DuraCase ProMG, the Series 6 notebooks made of magnesium can withstand a load of one tonne, while the Series 2 and 4 notebooks with DuraCase Pro frame can withstand a load of half a tonne.
Series 2 is available in 14- and 15-inch, Series 4 in 12-, 14- and 15-inch, and Series 6 in 14- and 15-inch versions with a second-generation Intel® Core ™ i5 / i3 processor, high-performance NVIDIA or Intel It comes with an HD video card.
B2B models feature a 300nit SuperBright display capable of displaying 16 million colors, making colors look 40 percent more vivid than usual on traditional monitors. Thanks to PowerPlus Battery Smart technology, the innovations retain 1000 percent of their battery's original capacity even after 80 recharges, so they can last up to three times longer than other business notebooks.
Business notebooks will also be available in Hungary from April, and their prices may vary depending on the configuration.

Samsung Series 5 Ultra NP-530U4B [+]

Samsung Series 5: the first Samsung ultrabook
The new five-series ultrabook is a notebook developed by Samsung for those who are constantly on the move. The ultra-slim device has a lightweight, long battery life and, unlike many other thin laptops of a similar caliber, comes with a built-in optical drive. The 14-inch ultrabook will be available in Hungary in a 5-inch version, powered by the Intel® Core ™ i5-2467M processor, up to 8GB of expandable memory, the Diskeeper ExpressCache ™ system, and the AMD Radeon ™ HD graphics card. The Series 5 ultrabook will be up and running in 20 seconds after it is turned on, and it only takes 2 seconds to “wake up” from sleep mode.
The ultrabook's performance is further enhanced by a longer-lasting battery that can last up to 6,4 hours on a single charge. With Samsung Battery Life Plus technology, it can retain 1500 percent of its original battery capacity after 3 recharges (within 80 years), so it can last up to five times longer than other notebooks.
The 5-inch version of the 14 Series ultrabook has 500GB of hard drive and 16GB SSD for data storage. In addition, the notebook has a standard-sized HDMI port, a USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports, a 4-in-1 memory card reader, an Ethernet port and a webcam, as well as an optical drive and a 1GB AMD Radeon ™ HD7550M graphics also available with a card, 20,9 mm thick and 1,84 kg.
The laptops feature a 300nit bright HD LED SuperBright screen with LCD technology, image enhancement Image Enhancer technology and a matte display.

Samsung Series 7 Chronos
Samsung’s 7 Series notebook opens up new horizons for those who value design, speed and perfect image display when choosing a new computer. The notebook family comes with two members, the 700Z3A (14,0 ″) and 700Z5A (15,6 ″). What's new, 6GB of DDR3 system memory and a 8GB hard drive with 1000GB of flash memory based on Express Cache technology allow for twice the speed of web browsing with increased overall performance. Top performance is achieved in every area, as both the Core i5 processors and the AMD Radeon HD6750M / HD6490M video card represent the best technology. Series 7 notebooks, like the Series 5 models, wake up from sleep in just 2 seconds, and it takes just 19 seconds to turn off the device completely.
In addition to impressive speed and performance, what's new is extended battery life: Series 7 Chronos notebooks can run for up to 8 hours on a single charge. With Battery Life Plus technology, like the 5 Series, their batteries retain 1500% of their original capacity after 80 recharges, so they can last up to five times longer than other notebooks.
Both models come with a high-brightness HD + resolution (1600 × 900 pixels) SuperBright screen that allows you to enjoy the smallest details to the fullest, even outdoors. The matte surface of the display is gentle on the eyes, and it is much more resistant to small scratches. The keyboard backlight provides perfect readability even in the dark, and the SoundAlive sound system provides perfect sound.
The modern, compactly designed devices are surprisingly thin, with the 14-inch version weighing 2,17 kg while the 15,6-inch model weighing 2,32 kg. One of the reasons for the low weight is the Samsung MAX screen solution, which allows the 15-inch display to fit in a housing only 14 inches in size. Samsung has two special software installed on the devices: Easy Migration offers the ability to clone user accounts between computers via USB, network, or WiFi, while the Control Center pre-installed on the computers allows you to complete all important computer settings in minutes.
The notebooks are already available in Hungary, at a recommended gross end-user price of HUF 334.
