New Studio notebook from Dell's workshop

The upgraded machine can arrive on store shelves with a stronger graphics card and better display.

At the heart of the device is an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processor, which, thanks to its 2,4 GHz clock, seems to be the optimal middle ground for adequate computing capacity as well as energy efficiency. The same is true for the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 512 graphics core with 4570MB of onboard memory, which compensates for its entry-level performance with its relatively low grip. This time, a 15,6-inch panel is responsible for the high-quality display we're used to on Dell machines: The 768-pixel widescreen unit is LED-lit, providing a clear image even in natural light, with the lowest possible power consumption.

Equipped with a myriad of optional accessories (including a Blu-ray drive), the machine is priced at $ 1599, which, considering the impeccable quality of the manufacturer’s products, doesn’t seem exaggerated at all.
