Sony's new Walkman has arrived

With up to 77 hours of standby time, the Walkman E580 is the perfect companion for those who like to forget about everyday charging. In addition to the ClearAudio + mode, which is responsible for crystal-clear sound, technologies such as Clear Bass, Clear Stereo, Clear Phase and DSEE provide the perfect music experience, allowing you to restore the high frequencies lost during compression. Sony’s patented sound processing system, VPT, brings a new dimension to the world of music listening by bringing the world of sound to studios, club concerts and arenas to life.

The built-in digital noise filter in the E580's earphones eliminates 98% of unnecessary external noise, providing a clear and uninterrupted sound experience while traveling or in the office. For the first time in the E-Series Walkman MP3 players, the E580 also lets you listen to FLAC files. 

High quality is accompanied by an attractive exterior, and the thin aluminum cover makes the device easy to carry and stylish at the same time.

Built into the colorful, compact Walkman E380, Clear Bass technology delivers distortion-free sound and a clear stereo experience at high volume. Clear Stereo separates the audio processing of the left and right channels, and Dynamic Normaliser compensates for disturbing volume jumps between songs. With the built-in five-band equalizer, the device also allows for fine-tuning to suit individual tastes.In addition to listening to the built-in FM radio and uploaded playlists, the LCD screen allows you to view videos and pictures in outstanding quality. With 380 hours of playback time, the E30 is perfect for longer trips. 

Uploading Walkman devices is quick and easy, just drag and drop songs, photos, videos, podcasts, playlists (non-DRM content) from Windows Explorer or iTunes. 

The new Walkman NWZ-E580 and NWZ-E380 will be available across Europe from July.
