Will the new FX CPUs be surprisingly cheap?

It has been revealed before that the first four products will be the FX-8350, FX-8320, FX-6300 and FX-4300, but the shelter has not yet officially fallen off the expected pricing. There are rumors, of course.

According to VR-Zone, AMD intends to launch the new generation with overwhelming pricing. The flagship of the series, the FX-8350, could cost $ 200, which is significantly cheaper than the Intel Core i5-3570K - hopefully there will be no (burning) difference in performance. The FX-8320 seems like an even better buy, as enterprising shoppers can get their big brother’s performance from $ 175 with some overdrive. The golden mean is the six-core FX-6300, which with its $ 135 price tag is expected to show a great price / performance ratio. The black lamb is the smallest solution for us, the FX-4300. The processor could hit store shelves for 125 U.S. green-bellied, we feel the quad-core CPU will be noticeably weaker than the FX-6300, but the latter is only minimally more expensive.
