The unique system, also referred to as “3.0 bank”, combines state-of-the-art online banking services with popular digital platforms such as Facebook to create an easy-to-use banking interface - thanks to which the first “facebook transfer” took place in May this year.

We need to keep pace with developments, as solutions that were revolutionary a few years ago are now part of everyday life. The constant change and development of the world must also be followed by the solutions that are used on a daily basis worldwide.

Alior Bank, just three years old, announced last November that it would launch the first direct bank in Poland in 2012 under the name Alior Sync, primarily to reach young people between the ages of 25 and 30 who have practically grown up with the internet. For them, netbank is just the tip of the iceberg, they need constant innovation, solutions that keep pace with the development of technology. They are the ones who one day refer to their bank’s internet interface and the next day wait for smartphone apps to make the most of the technology in their pockets - even to manage their banking affairs. Thanks to IND Group's solutions, all you need is a tablet or smartphone with an Internet browser.
Since almost everyone also uses Facebook with these tools, it was obvious to introduce a solution that can make this interface part of banking as well. With the revolutionary innovation, customers can make transfers not from a call center or internet bank, but directly from Facebook, with the help of a special application, Alior Payment, which only requires an account open for Facebook transfers. The only condition for the transfer is that the recipient of the transferred amount also uses the application. If these conditions are met, the application can be used to transfer to any account held at a Polish bank, the security of which is ensured by a captcha and a one-time password sent via SMS.

This system has already been proven in a test environment: this year, on May 29, the first transfer via Facebook was made in the Alior Sync system, and then Alior Sync customers can use it live. “The IND Group is proud to have been the developer of such an important solution, which is expected to become more popular in the future. With this, we have once again proved that as a pioneering company in banking solutions, it is extremely important for us to innovate, find new ways and integrate different interfaces in order to make it as easy as possible for users to manage their daily finances. ” - said Balázs Vinnai, Managing Director of IND Group.
