Samsung's second-generation desktop Blu-ray player has arrived.

The official unveiling of the Samsung BD-P1200 took place at the ongoing CES, as the predecessor model, the BD-P1000 also premiered a year ago.

For the Samsung BD-P1200, the newly developed HQV (Hollywood Quality Video) processor guarantees the display of 1080i and 1080p real-resolution content and the merging of half-images of HD material, ensuring the best possible image quality. For the second generation structure, we can talk about full HDMI 1.3 and 192 KHz LPCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS support.
