Moderate GeForce GTS 250 from Gainward
After the 9600 GT and 9800 GT, a "green" version of the GTS 250 was also made.
Consumption of the graphics-based product, codenamed G92b, has been reduced in the simplest way possible by reducing clock speeds: the GPU is 38, the shading units are 324, and the memory is around 200 MHz lower than its reference models. Gainward did not provide specific information on how the original 150 W consumption of the video card had changed as a result of the intervention.
The GeForce GTS 512 "Green", which comes in two versions, with 1024 or 250 MB of on-board memory, will be available for purchase within days, the purchase price is not clear.
