Linus Torvalds: NVIDIA is a bad partner

At an event in Finland, Torvalds expressed his views in an unacceptable way.

One of the students at Aalto University was asking about oil on fire. The student reported that his laptop uses NVIDIA Optimus technology, but cannot use Linux without proper software support. The operating system's parent then snapped a string. He said NVIDIA is a very bad partner and doesn’t pay enough attention to Linux. He claims they are behaving in a very annoying and immoral way because they focus huge resources on Android, which is so important to the company, and it is also a Linux-based solution. 

“So NVIDIA, fuck you!”

 
It’s worth noting that these aren’t new issues at all (many people have complained about NVIDIA before), but unfortunately the situation isn’t real on the AMD front either. In any case, Torvalds' outburst did not move in the category of permissible expression, although the audience was amused by it.
