LG IPS5 monitor family for the best possible color

LG IPS5 monitor family for the best possible colorLG announced its IPS5 family this week, with monitors with LED backlighting and an increasingly widespread IPS panel today.

In addition to the IPS/LED combo, the displays use Super Energy Saving technologies, so the manufacturer strives for the lowest possible energy consumption. In contrast to this, the engineers worked on rendering the colors as realistic as possible, of course it is much easier to achieve this with an IPS panel than with, say, a TN+Film panel. The family includes four models, the 21,5-inch IPS225V and IPS225T, and the 23-inch IPS235V and IPS235T. Each monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 14 ms GTG response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5:000 and a maximum brightness of 000 cd/m1. With the help of the base, the height of the display can be adjusted and "it can be turned to almost any angle". We hope to be able to try this during a test, in the meantime we can only admire the flashy design and wait for the release in November.
