Acer Aspire 5560 & 7560 - Llano based

Acer Aspire 5560 & 7560 - Llano basedAcer introduced two AMD Sabine platform-based laptops with A-Series APUs to Europe this week.

We don’t have to introduce Llano to any of our readers, we’ve covered all the pros and cons over 8 pages. Nor is it any surprise that the technology has also reached laptops, the A-Series (A4 / A6 / A8) APU. Acer’s two laptops, the 15,6-inch Aspire 5560 and the 17,3-inch Aspire 7560, also received a CineCrystal LED-backlit display, the former having a resolution of 1366 × 768 and the larger sibling 1600 × 900. That APU can be paired with up to 8GB of memory and a 750GB hard drive, as well as a choice of DVD burner and Blu-ray combo drive from an optical drive. As you know, thanks to Llano, we get quite good integrated graphics, if that's not enough, we also have the option of a discrete card + integrated card design, which can really bring a significant increase in performance.

Of course, you’ll find the standard output, which is a card reader, webcam (1,3 MP), Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and HDMI output. The machine gets a FineTip keyboard that they love at least as much as they curse. Both machines come with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit operating system for € 499. The smaller model is available in three colors (red, blue, black) while the larger one is available in two colors (black and blue).
