The Verge portal recently announced that the first website created by Berners-Lee as an employee of CERN can still be viewed. This site was first published on August 1991, 6 and was about what the World Wide Web is, how to use browsers, how to create a web server, and so on.
In 1994, Berners-Lee founded the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It was also joined by various companies that wanted to improve the quality of the Internet by preparing standards and recommendations.

The website in question here can be viewed. It is worth noting the extent to which changes have taken place over the years.
