An IT-based backup management system is introduced

According to the published press release, the currently used backup management environment is primarily based on paper-based work - this will fundamentally change by the middle of next year. In the rescue control center, the system will display the location and available supply units on a map, and suggest the nearest alarming rescue unit with the required competence, which can be selected and launched from the screen.

By placing the rescue management system on an IT basis, the care data will also be available to the target institution, and the health care database will be easily searchable and queriable. Simultaneously with the development, the number of rescue management sites will be reduced: instead of the current 26, 20 active control centers will be created plus one emergency reserve. [MTI]
