The Core i7-8086K reaches this dream limit with easy work.

Intel's 5,0 GHz is imminent

Rumors of a six-core processor have been confirmed, with the product reportedly in the first trimester of June. The novelty with the product code BX80684I78086K has already appeared in some foreign online stores, in which it was about 50-100 euros more expensive than the Core i7-8700K. You can read the main specifications of the holiday edition CPU below.

Who might have lagged behind: The Intel 8086 (aka iAPX86) is Intel’s 16-bit processor, the first copy of the x86 architecture - so the rookie pays homage to that.

Looking at the clocks, we assume that the company uses heavily assorted chips, as the 95-watt TDP certainly acts as a limiting factor. Intel will provide more details on Computex anyway, but we will have to wait until June 5th for this.

Special editions and 5 GHz processors

This is not the first time that Intel has come up with a solution like this, the G20 was previously released for the 3258th anniversary of the Pentium. The chip giant has also slipped from the address of the first retail 5 GHz processor, as it is owned by the FX-5, which has been released for 9590 years. Note that if the latter manufacturer holds the word, you can start the Ryzen 7 2800X soon.
