Console sales figures in the US

NPD Group, a market research firm, provided statistics on consoles sold in the United States.

From the figures in the table, it is easy to read that the best-selling gaming machine of all time is the PlayStation 2 in the US, while Nintendo’s two handheld consoles - the DS and GBA - are both extremely popular in the US.
