Following the change, less honest owners of the Sony PSP may even run non-genuine software on their gaming machine. The so-called Undiluted Platinum Modchip (literally translated as concentrated platinum) created by hackers contains 32 megabytes of flash memory that can be programmed from a computer via a USB cable. The software support needed for the hack was also provided by the same team.
