Easier Google search now on smartphones (with video)
It's been yesterday Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), iOS 4.0+ and Android 2.2+ users can also use Google Instant Previews.
The feature has been available on our computer browsers since November and finally the phone search will become easier. We've become accustomed to using Google searches to offer alternatives as you type, you don't have to type in the content you're looking for, just click the right one. However, in addition to the search results, a magnifying glass icon will appear next to it, and you can click on it to preview images of the most popular results.
This way, among other things, you don't have to wait for the time to load a page completely, and you can avoid ugly, poorly edited, or wrong results. You can scroll through the preview images and click on the one you like best to load that page. The following video shows the exact operation of Instant Previews:
