Smaller, cooler from GeForce 9800 GTX + ELSAs

The ELSA GLADIAC 998 GTX Plus V2 is a real specialty of its kind.

Our readers, who know NVIDIA's product range from top to bottom, can rightly assume that ELSA's "late", second-generation 8800 GTS can be seen in the photo below — however, this is a half-truth, in fact, fate has brought us together with a new "basic" 9800 GTX+. The GLADIAC 998 GTX Plus V2 differs from its "ordinary" counterparts in several ways: its printed circuit board is 38 mm shorter (229 mm compared to the reference 9800 GTX+'s 267 mm), and as we mentioned before, the 8800 GTS's 512 MB cooling got it. According to ELSA, thanks to these modifications, the temperature of the G92b graphics processor was reduced by 7 degrees Celsius under load. Furthermore, it is also worth mentioning that VGA's "energy hunger" is now satisfied through only one 6-pin PCIe connector instead of two. However, there is no question of tuning, the clock speed of the GPU is 738, the 128 shading units are 1836, and the 512 MB GDDR3 memory is 2200 MHz. The distribution of the GLADIAC 998 GTX Plus V2 will begin within days.
