Kinect: 2,5 million copies sold

Microsoft has mowed a lot with the new XBOX add-on, but it’s not over yet.

This month, Microsoft launched its XBOX 360 add-on, dubbed Kinect, which, according to the latest surveys, is selling very well around the world. Within 10 days of the official premiere, the number of sales has reached one million, and in 25 days this value has increased 2,5 times, so far the Redmond giant boasts more than 2,5 million units sold, that means 100.000 pieces a day. However, this does not seem to be enough for Microsoft, as their goal is to sell 6 million units of it worldwide by Christmas. The motion detection device is otherwise sold in 38 countries and 60.000 locations around the world.

Microsoft Kinect is already available in Hungary, the end user price is around 40.000 HUF.
