Magyar Telekom bought nine smaller cable networks this year

TV, broadband internet and voice services are available to a total of 33 households on the smaller networks purchased.In line with the company's strategy, these transactions will further increase Magyar Telekom's high-speed internet coverage and strengthen its market position. The total price of the purchases was about HUF 850 ​​million.

János Szabó, Magyar Telekom's Deputy Chief Financial Officer, said in connection with the acquisitions: "The nine successfully completed transactions indicate that Magyar Telekom's acquisition activities have significantly accelerated this year."
