Outstandingly quiet power supplies from Thermaltake
Thermaltake has launched a new power supply series.
When designing the TR2 QFan power supplies, the pursuit of the sometimes completely meaningless watts was not the primary consideration, but rather the outstanding quality and quiet operation. Accordingly, the power of active PFC PSUs is scaled on a scale of 50 from 300 to 500 W, with a 14 cm white fan turning up to 1900 per minute - at 1500 the noise level is only 17 dBA -, the efficiency also exceeds 20 percent at 50, 100 and 80% load.
The plethora of cables satisfies all needs:
- 1 × 20 + 4 pin ATX
- 1 × 8 pin 12 V branch
- 1 × 4 pin 12 V branch
- 5 × 4 pin cable for peripherals
- 4 × 5 pin SATA
- 1 × FDD cable
- 2 × 6 pin PCI Express
Sales of the TR2 QFan power supplies will begin in March.
