The new MacBook Pro is available with the latest Intel Core 2,6 Duo processors up to 2 GHz, in addition to 6 MB of L2 cache, up to 4 GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM storage and up to 300 GB of hard drive space. Armed with 512 MB of dedicated graphics storage, it also includes an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics driver. The Multi-Touch fingerprint on the new MacBook Pro models lets you move, rotate, rotate, zoom in, or zoom out with simple two-finger gestures. Thanks to the new backlit keyboard, the MacBook Pro can be used comfortably in poorly lit places, studios, airplanes, or conference rooms. An automatic backlight sensor ensures that the screen and keyboard illumination are kept to an optimal value.

The ultra-affordable new MacBook with 13-inch glossy widescreen display is available in three basic configurations - a 2,1 or 2,4 GHz white processor with a 120 or 160 GB hard drive and a 2,4 GHz black processor and 250 GB hard drive. The new 2,4 GB model is already equipped with 2 GB of RAM as standard, which can be expanded up to 4 GB.

Every MacBook and MacBook Pro comes with a built-in iSight camera that makes it easy to set up a video conference from anywhere. The practical MagSafe power supply connector works on a magnetic principle, automatically disconnects when the cable is pulled by something, thus protecting the computer from falling. In addition to the latest preliminary 802.11n-compliant wireless adapter, the new models include a 10/100 / 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet adapter, analog and digital audio input and output, USB 2.0 and FireWire ports, and a built-in SuperDrive drive.

All Macs, including the new MacBook and MacBook Pro models, come with Apple's digital lifestyle software, the iLife \\ ”08 software package, which brings together the latest versions of iPhoto, iTunes, GarageBand, iMovie, iDVD and iWeb in a single, well-integrated package. The new models run the latest version of Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard,” which includes a completely rewritten Finder, among other things, along with the hugely popular QuickLook and Spaces features. The Leopard operating system also includes enhanced new versions of Mail and iChat, as well as support for Apple's revolutionary Time Machine backup service.
