So far, did you know that the Samsung Galaxy S10 + will be the first phone with 1 TB of storage? You are wrong!

They released the 1TB phone and then they die in pretty quiet now

Last May, the Chinese Smartisan manufacturer announced the SMARTISAN NUT R1-et. The R1 is an Android-based device with two rear cameras, a Snapdragon 845 processor and up to 8GB of RAM. The most interesting feature of the device is that it can be ordered with up to 1 TB of UFS 2.1 storage. The introductory price of SMARTISAN NUT R1 was 8 yuan (about $ 848). Then the head of the company said loudly that we would see Samsung and Apple going to copy them as well, wanting to emphasize that they were the first on the market with such a large amount of storage. Anyway, of course, it is ruthless bullshit to say this, because it is obvious that the 1400 TB capacity is already the next step in the top category, so to say this as a copy rubs a bit on the skew category.

According to recent news, the big vest soon became small, the manufacturer remained a marginal player in the market. Maybe the unknown name, maybe the chunky price tag did, but the fact is that the SMARTISAN NUT R1 has barely run out, and in fact the company has only been able to sell a total of 3 million phones in the last four years, which is sweet for survival. As a result, there was already a problem with the payment of wages by December, and the company’s accounts were frozen due to supplier receivables. It will be difficult to climb out of this pit, so we can safely say that the fate of the company is, to put it mildly, uncertain.
