Knife, fork, scissors, internet not in the hands of a child?

Even with the youngest children, the Internet has become an everyday part of their lives, but it often causes a lot of problems and headaches for parents, as they can pay heavy sums for using children’s inattention after using unsupervised smartphones.go-to-the-game

One in five parents has already been unpleasantly surprised by leaving their child unchecked in front of a computer, according to a survey conducted by Kaspersky Lab and B2B International in the summer of 2013.

Today, the issue is more pressing than ever, as with the proliferation of computers, smartphones, and tablets, there are now at least four devices in every household that can serve as a potential source of danger for children in addition to having fun and learning. After all, there are no boundaries and limitations on the online interface: using a computer, children can get lost on almost any site thanks to unlimited access. Of course, the internet has a huge toolbox of entertainment and knowledge, but it also poses serious dangers for all ages.

A recent joint survey of the two companies found that more than a quarter (27%) of parents felt their child was at risk in the past 12 months because of online content. Furthermore, 11 percent of those surveyed reported that their child visited sites that were not appropriate for their age, and 7 percent of respondents had specific evidence that their child had contacted strangers.

10 percent of parents surveyed reported that their children accidentally removed important and confidential family information from the family machine, and 5 percent admitted that there was an example of them accidentally sharing other data with strangers. Furthermore, thanks to online application stores, 18 percent of respondents said they had already suffered financial damage due to shared web store access.
